Adding Additional User Accounts (Team Members)



An Overview of Team Collaboration 
 
A GetFeedback account is tied to a specific person, with a specific login / email address. For example, you sign into GetFeedback with your unique email address and password, which provides you access to the surveys within your account.  However many GetFeedback users have asked, "How can I work together on survey projects with multiple people on my team, or multiple people across my company?"  

The GetFeedback Terms and Conditions of use do not allow for the sharing of user credentials between multiple people for (a) security concerns that are validated by the policies of most corporate IT environments, and (b) the havoc that comes when multiple people are working within the same environment and stepping on each others toes.
Inspired by products such as Google Apps and Salesforce, today's collaborative business software allows multiple individuals within a team to work together to more effectively on projects while each maintaining their own separate login credentials and workspace.

Similarly, GetFeedback allows any user on the Salesforce plan or Enterprise plan to create a multi-user "team" with centralized administration, billing, and control settings.  It's quite simple to get started and here's how it works:


 
Adding Additional User Accounts (Team Members)
 
For GetFeedback users who are on the Salesforce or Enterprise plans, additional user accounts (team members) may be added by navigating to Account Settings > Team Settings.  From this screen you will see that you have the ability to add new user accounts to your team.

By selecting "Add a Team Member" you will be able to add additional user accounts to your team.  Simply enter the new user name and email address, review the pricing and confirm your order.

The Impact of Adding User Accounts on Monthly Response Limits

When new user accounts are added as part of a team, the entire team then begins to use a pooled set of survey responses.  For each new team member added, the monthly response limits increase accordingly for the number of individuals added.  For example, the GetFeedback Enterprise Plan includes a limit of 10,000 responses/month for a single user account.  If the administrator then added 4 additional users for a total team of 5, the pooled response limit would be 1,000 responses/month X 5 team members = 50,000 pooled responses per month.  The number of used responses in any given month can always be seen by the team administrator by navigating to Account Settings > Plan and Payment 


New User Invitation and On-boarding Process

When a new user account is purchased by the team administrator, an email invitation is sent to that new user at the email address specified.  Since that new user may not be aware of GetFeedback and the functionality within the application, they are provided with some basic information about who initiated the invitation, and a brief paragraph of information on benefits of Getfeedback.  From the email invitation they are prompted to "Sign in and Complete Registration" where the new user will be prompted for a password to finalize the creation of their GetFeedback account, as shown below:

If any survey have been shared with a new user between the time their invitation was sent and their registration was completed, those surveys will appear in the list of surveys "Shared with Me" on the survey home view.


Resending an Invitation to a New User

As explained above, when a new user account is purchased by a team administrator, an email is automatically sent to that users email address asking them to complete the registration process.  We all know that sometimes email invitations get lost or deleted in an email inbox.  As a result, if a team administrator needs to re-send an invitation to a new user, they can do so by navigating to Account Settings > Team Settings > User > Resend Invitation, as shown below:
